Destination Wedding Kristen & Ben Santa Teresa Costa Rica

Costa Rica’s natural beauty and gorgeous beaches make it an ideal location for a chic destination wedding. Kristen and Ben rented the beautiful Casa Capitan for their beach side ceremony and star lit reception. Kristen especially loved the soft muted tones and earth tones found on the beach. The sand in Santa Teresa has crushed sea shells, which is why creams, light pinks, and tan became the color palette for the wedding. Green accents were chosen to tie it all together and to represent the lush jungle back drop for the beach ceremony. The design concept by Santa Teresa Beach Weddings was to accentuate the natural beauty of Costa Rica by using light pink roses and combining them with more organic pieces for the tables and bouquets. Palm leaves were used for each guest’s chair that doubled as a fan for the ceremony. The reception will take your breath away. A long table pool side, floating candles, sitting below trees strung with lights and the centerpieces had succulents, green hydrangeas, pale pink roses and orchids to bring all the natural elements of Costa Rica together. A cake by Victoria Zoch stood eloquently surrounded by tea lights and after a delectable dinner with cake the night ended by releasing wishing lanterns into the sky. Of course seeing this incredible destination wedding would not be possible without the incredible talents of Julie, Katherine and Alejandra from Comfort Studio. These ladies really have that incredible touch when it comes to being the eyes behind the lens.
